The Holiday Train Show is a winter tradition at the New York Botanical Garden. The trains travel through a miniature botanical city where iconic New York architecture is re-created using fruit, bark, leaves, and other natural materials. With more than 190 buildings and bridges, it would be hard to highlight every plant or fungus used, but the gallery above features some of my favorites used as building materials.
See if you can spot these plants and fungi when you visit NYBG's Holiday Train Show.
