Description:

From the protologue: "Pileo pulvinato, squamis crassis obtuse conicis imbricato, roseo-purpureo, demum pallescente, velo membranaceo lacerato, margine adherente. Stipite aequali, striato, pallido; tubulis liberis, utrinque abbreviatis, medio longissimi, poris majusculis, angulatis, lutescentibus. Carne fracto caerulescente, mox albidis. Sporis fuscis, longitudinaliter rugosis, 18–20 × 8 µ.".
