How to extract images from EMu

Follow these instructions to export image files from the Multimedia Module to your computer hard drive.

2. Delete all records in your current KE Software Cache folder:

1. Cut and paste this location into Windows Explorer: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\KESoftware\Cache  (***be sure to change “username” to your user name)
2. Select and delete all folders within the Cache folder.

3. Return to the Multimedia Module to prepare export:

1. Select records of interest.
2. Navigate to Tools -> Reports -> Multimedia Export.
3. Select "Report".
4. When prompted to "Browse For Folder", select "Cancel".

5. Search the Cache folder for “.jpg”

6. Select all files and move (or copy/paste) them to a new directory of your choice.
