Sundews. Drosera is the largest genus of carniverous plants, with almost 200 species found all over the globe. Similar to fly paper, sundews trap their prey in glandular hairs on their leaves which produce a sticky liquid that the insect gets stuck in. These hairs are also sensitive to movement. As an insect gets stuck and moves around the leaf curls around its prey, permanently trapping it.
