Tea is a widely popular and culturally significant beverage brewed from the leaves of Camellia sinensis. Both black and green tea are derived from the leaves of this shrub, the difference being that black tea is fermented. The preparation of tea is incorporated into many social and ceremonial activities including Japanese tea ceremonies and "tea time" as a meal in the Commonwealth countries.Tea
