Description:

Herb to about 35 cm with purplish stems & sepals. Corolla dark yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Mixed restinga vegetation on sand, with high forest, low trees and shrubs, and sedge meadow with open wet areas on white sand. This plant by margin of shallow pool on sand.
