Description:

Tree to 15 m. with the trunk to 30 cm. Leaves coriaceous, slightly glossy above, paler beneath. Fruit tinged red. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Rain forest, changing to disturbed areas with scattered trees and woodland, dominated by Pteridium, at higher altitudes. This plant growing at summit of mountain.
