Description:

Floating herb with submerged bright green narrow filamentous segments just below the surface. Flower shoots about 10 cm., pedicels spreading, arching in fruit. Sepals pale green. Corolla yellow with pale spur & dark reddish mark on lower lip at throat. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Metamorphosed sandstone hill, with dry caatinga woodland with stream & marsh at foot.
