Eggleston, who is associated usually (perhaps always) with a ‘B' or ‘H' collection number. In reality, ‘B' and ‘H' are the collectors, these being C.D. Beadle and T.G. Harbison, the Biltmore collector, respectively. It seems, however, that it was Eggleston who compiled and initially curated this important collection of syntypes, some only fragments, because much (?all) of the handwriting is his."]
