Mexico. Veracruz. Huatusco Mun. 1km NW of Elotepec along (impassable) road to Chichiquila. Alt. 1700 m. (5577 ft.)

Description:

Vine into small trees, seems mostly dead, only one bristly green fruit seen, easily dislodged. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.

Habitat:

Bosque caducifolio. Much disturbed remnant of forest on slopes along small stream. Liquidambar macrophylla, Alnus acuminata ssp. arguta, Meliosma alba, Clethra.
