Description:

Treelet ca. 6 m tall. Leaves subcoriaceous, dark green and shiny above, pale green below. Immature fruits pale green. Common name: Guariquara de igapó.

Habitat:

Disturbed primary forest with frequent logging, about 3 km W of community.
