Description:

Tree. Tree 20m x 26cm, outer bark brown, thin, shed in thin, irregular plates, inner bark white with sepia striations, soft. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Open forest with palms on high terraces only occasionally dissected by streams. No presence of taboca (Guadua palm). Rare.
