Description:

treelet. Scandent tree 5m, fruits immature, glossy green, ovoid. Also seen by dirt road on terra firme. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

"Baixo": low-lying area, much of it periodically swamped by overflow of many streams. Canopy mostly closed, few palms or broad-leaved monocots in this area. Many ferns, also slender trees, shrubs, lianas.
