Description:

Small tree. Bark grey, fine fissures. Inflorescence 30-40 m long, orange fuzzy. Flowers: calyx orange fuzzy, corolla maroon, filaments maroon, anthers white.
Habitat:

Lowland mixed dipterocarp forest. Among granite boulders along river. on granite derived soils.
