Description:

herb, root-parasite. Erect herb, fruits maturing pale orange-green, falling off easily at maturity. One dense population seen. Level area, in shade. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Terra firme forest on undulating terrain, regenerating from Guadua bamboo die-back two years ago. Open canopy, understory open in places.
