Description:

Shrub, 2 m; leaves deep green above, very pale green beneath; young fruit pale green. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Southern Bahian Wet Forest. Soil deep, clay, light brown to reddish (lower slopes ideal for growing cocoa).
