Description:

terrestrial herb. Herb 50-200 cm, leaf arrangement zingiberoid, leaf blade 20-28 x 7-9 cm; inflorescence erect/distichous, bracts 5-9, orange, rachis orange, first bract sometimes tinged with green, sepals orange with dark band at tip, ovary red above, yellow-orange below, pedicel orange. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Frequent at roadside.
