Description:

terrestrial herb. Herb 2-2.5 m, leaf arrangement zingiberoid, leaf blade slightly tinged maroon below, inflorescence erect/distichous, bracts 5-7, yellow with small red check, apex sometimes green, rachis bright red, sepals yellow with dark band at apex, ovary yellow basally, dark green above, pedicel green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Riverbank in full sun.
