Description:

Tree, 15 m tall, dbh 18 cm. Trunk thorny, outer bark pale yellow, rough, lenticellate, thin; inner bark tan with spicy odor.

Habitat:

Moist forest on terra firme, Tertiary sediments. Undulating terrain.
