treelet. Treelet 3m, buds red-purple, flowers white. The dominant species in the early successional band of shrubs (below Gynerium and Cecropia) along tributaries of the Rio Juruá in this region. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Steep riverbank.
