NYBG Accession Number:2132/2010*A. Rhizomatous subshrub with hydrangea-like leaves that are dark green, coarsely-toothed leaves and oblong-ovate. The inflorescence is a corymbose cyme with white fertile flowers surrounded by a few showy pink bracts. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
