Description:

climber. Climbing; bracts pilosus; large pet. violet; others yellowish-mauve. N.B. Not Ischnosophon gracilis which has glabrous bracts, a thin (2.5 mm. diam.) spike, and smaller narrower, staminodes. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

In mixed forest.
