Description:

Tree. Tree 20 m x 30 cm, outer bark grayish-brown, deeply fissured. Inflorescence drooping, fruits oblong, brown with green lenticels, 5 cm long. In low-lying area next to stream-bed. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Primary forest on steeply hilly terrain, parts of non-inundated areas reportedly regenerating from arborescent bamboo die-back two years ago. Occasional.
