Description:

Leaves gray green below, dull green above, with a grayish-blue tinge of glaucous caste around center of blade and along main nerves above; nerves meeting above in center in brick network; pedicels pale green in lower half, dull red in upper half; calyx tube green at tip, salmon red in upper and lower part; calyx lobes pale green; petals, filaments a dark purple black; anthers blue turning buff-gray; style white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
