Description:

Stems 5 to 8 ft. long; inflorescence terminal, ascendingly curved, rigid, the terete stalk pale to yellowish green; flowers arranged along the under or outer side, from the middle; the thick flower bases isabellinus, 2-flowered but of very defferent ages; calyx? green, rigid, the corolla also rigid and cremous except the greenish tip. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Creek bed rocks at the upper edge of high falls in humid wooded gulches.
