Description:

A lofty tree climber or rather epiphytic on them, over topping or hanging from the larger limbs; branches forming more or less rigid clumps; leaves coriaceous, with recurved tips, somewhat paler beneath; young inflorescence enclosed by a globose ball 1 1/2 inch across, the alrge yellowish white or outer brown colored bracts falling early. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
Habitat:

Is quite plentiful in dry dense forests at 3000 to 4000 feet.
