Description:

Tree; 8 m. tall, DBH 16 cm. Petals light yellow with orange glands on abaxial side. No sap visible in cut branches. Tree 8 m, dbh 16 cm; bark and sap without a red colour; flowers scentless, pollinated by humming birds; calyces green with red margins; corolla yellow-light brown with red spots; hairs, filaments, anthers and styles white; stigmata whitish-light green; ovary orange. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Submontane tropical moist forest.
