Georeferencing Method: Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012 (Lago Erepecú is located within the boundaries of Reserva Biológica do Rio Trombetas. Georeferenced to the approximate geographic center of Lago Erepecú, which branches off from Rio Trombetas in Oriximiná, Pará. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located lake Lago Erepecú. Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure the total extent of the lake; halved this distance to approximate the location of the geographic center of the lake. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates, on the adjacent southern shore. Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) again to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of Lago Erepecú. Used linear extent as the uncertainty radius. Site is located in the Brazilian state of Pará, not Paraná.)
