Description:
Tree, up to 7 m tall; leaves oddly compound, leaflets drop in "winter"; reddish flowers (5 cm across) with short pedicels on small cymes (3cm long) emerging directly from the stem; fruit a drupe, 3 cm by 2 cm, red when ripe with yellow and juicy flesh, large stone, hangs from short pedicel, up to 1 cm. Fruit stays on tree after leaves drop.
