Description:

Understory shrub, to 1.5 m. Domatia under leaves at junction of midrib & lateral veins. Fruit in lat. stalked clusters; berries, to 7 mm long x 5 mm. diam. Fruit slightly rough, turning from green to yellow to orange. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Mata, somewhat altered- evidence of grazing and opening up to grasses on upper portion; pyroxenite substrate.
