Description:

Tree, 16 m tall. Leaves with yellow midrib; mostly in bud, a few open flowers, these with pedicel and sepals dark pink, petals light pink, fading to white marginally, staminal hood w. Phenology of specimen: flower.

Habitat:

Primary lowland wet forest on bank of Nickerie River, overhanging river.
