Description:

"There are at least three morphological types of this species, my opinion of this sample is circled" [type =] 1. 'big type' with tall (up to 14 m), stout, unbranched culms round in transection, and with long and wide leaf-blades which often droop at their tips". Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
