Description:

Herb with greenish red leaves in basal rosette appressed to bank. Inflorescence erect, corolla white. Locally abundant on bank.

Habitat:

Vertical roadside bank, clay soil with Dicranopteris hanging above; vegetation upland wet forest with Atuna, Horsfieldia, Morinda, Melastoma, Garcinia, Astronidium.
