Arvore de mata de terra firme, solo areno-argiloso, 33 m x 90 cm , fuste 20 m, sapopems 2,25 m. Casca externa marromfissurada, casca interna bege-claro, espessura da casca 2,8 cm. Fruto em formato de copinho, marrom maduro ontendo emmedia 35 sementes.
