Location:

Bolivia. Tarija. Gran Chaco Prov. 33.5 km ESE of Villa Montes on new highway to Isibobo and Paraguay, measuring from the intersection on Villa Montes of the Boyuibe-Yacuiba highway.

Description:

Shrublet 1.5 m. tall. Fruit held erect, green, a few turning orange, very hot.

Habitat:

At base of small hill ca. 25 m. high, the greatest topography in the region. Chaco forest with Aspidosperma (quebrachoblanco?), Schinopsis, Castela coccinea, Capparis salicifolia, C. speciosa, C. tweediana, Ruprechtia triflora.
