Description:

Shrub 4.5 m tall, 5 cm in diameter, with spreading crown. Fruit green, some turning bright red.
Habitat:

Somewhat rolling, probably old dune fields. Somewhat disturbed remnant of tall chaco forest with Phyllostylon, Pterogyne nitens. Soil sandy.
