Difficult to determine the location of the clearing to the right of the access road to Acampamento Azul; instead, georeferenced to the approximate geographic midpoint of the access road which leads to Acampamento Azul in Mun. Parauapebas, Pará. Used the reference material and Google Maps - Earth View to locate the access road to the Azul mining area, PA-275. Road PA-275 provides access from the city of Parauapebas westward to the mining area (and ends at the last mine). In this case, assumed the access road of mine Azul to be PA-275 from the Azul mine to the mining area closest to the city of Parauapebas (Mine N4W). Used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool to measure a straight line along PA-275 between the mining area of Azul and the mining area of N4W, then halved this distance to find the midpoint of the line. Chose a point along PA-275 nearest to the midpoint of the line; used the Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the coordinates of the approximate midpoint of this road. Used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool again to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of this segment of road. Input coordinates, linear extent (5310.0 m), and measurement error (10 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Named Place: River, road, stream, path).)
