Costa Rica. Above the Río Terraba near the Interamerican Hwy. about 10 km ENE of Palmar Norte (to San Isidro). Alt. 40 m. (131 ft.)

Description:

Petiols about 1 m long; plant to 2 m. The inflorescense pendulous rose-red; fruit yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
