Mexico. Jalisco. South-facing foothills of Sierra de Manantlán (ca. 40 km. southeast of Autlán], 2-3 km. above the abandoned site of Durazno, along the lumber-road between El Chante and Cuzalapa. Alt. 1250 m. (4101 ft.)

Description:

Woody vine in trees, 10 m. long., 5-6 cm. diam.; flowers white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Tropical deciduous forest in steep valley of rapid stream, with Quercus, Juglans, Fraxinus, Magnolia, Prunus. Abundant.
