Description:

liana. Liana 15 cm in tree, fruits globose, green, dehiscing to reveal red interior and 2 seeds. Stem 2 cm diam, lenticellate, peeling laterally. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Restinga -- forest on high terrace, level terrain, reportedly regenerating from dominant arborescent bamboo die-back 2-3 years ago.
