Location:

Costa Rica. Puntarenas. Aguabuena, 3.5 km W of Rincón. Along trail leading north from the house of don Quecho, W of BOSCOSA station. Alt. 120 m. (394 ft.)

Description:

Tree, 35 m x 45 cm. Buds yellow. Flowers faintly fragrant, collected fromt the ground 2-3 weeks later. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Tall, undisturbed forest in elevated, well-drained terrain.
