Location:

Costa Rica. Osa Peninsula. Aguabuena, 3.5 km W of Rincón. Four-hectare permanent sample plot 1 km N of BOSCOSA station in well-drained terrain with slopes of 15-35°. Alt. 350 m. (1148 ft.)

Description:

DBH 27.8 cm. Flowers yellow. Liquid collection at C. Plot indiv. #2343.

Habitat:

Tall primary forest with many palms and large lianas. Characteristic species: Symphonia, Carapa, Brosimum utile, Qualea, Otoba, Iriartea and Vantanea.
