Description:
Species Description - Plants in clumps from heavy, much-branched rhizomes, leaves along stem, blades of basal to 1.3 m. long, inflorescence erect, bracts basally yellow, apically and marginally crimson (when expanded, tip green), perianth segments yellow with green margins, immature fruit pale green.
