Description:

terrestrial shrub with branches to 2 m. pedicels and calyx green heavily suffused with red; lower 4/5 of corolla bright red, upper 1/5 green, immature fruits light green; pubescence on connective no seen. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

montane cloud forest. common, little in flower.
