Description:

Tree, up to 45-50 m, strongly buttressed, 70-100 cm dbh. Leaves 34 x 13 cm, petiole 14mm. Flowers large, calyx green at case to red at tips. Petals white, hood yellow-white.

Habitat:

Mixed forest on laterite (Dicymble-Eschweilera).
