Description:

Tree, up to 45-50 m, strongly butressed, 70-100 cm dbh. Leaves 34 x 13 cm, petiole 14mm. Flowers large, calyx green at base to red at apex. Petals white, hood yellow-white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Mixed forest on laterite (Dicymble-Eschweilera).
