Description:

Tree, 22 m x 20 cm. Bark fissured. The outer 2-3 mm, the inner 5-7 mm, red. The abaxial leaf blade surface green, the abaxial surface white. Leaves newly flushed. Phenology of specimen: sterile.

Habitat:

Non-flooded moist forest.

Feature Notes:

Tree 884 in the Lecythidaceae plot. Voucher for DNA collection from leaves.
