Description:

Tree, 35 m. Trunk fluted towards base. Bark distinctly fissured, the outer bark 2-5 mm, the inner bark 12 mm, deep red. Calyx green, petals white, fading brown, three petals forward, and three cucullate petals. Photos. Pickled flowers. Tree #1993 in quadr.
