Description: A view of campo rupestre in the state of Bahia, Brazil. The large-leaved plant in the foreground is a species of Anthurium (Araceae), the plant directly behind it is a species of Velloziaceae, and in the background but still on the rock is a species of Cactaceae. These plants are called epilithic or epipetric plants because they grow on rocks.
