Definition:
Locule orientation with the longest axis of a locule to the central axis of an ovary as seen in a medial longitudinal section.

Care has to be made to make sure that this feature is viewed with a medial longitudinal section. A section that is longitudinal, i.e., it does pass through the middle of the ovary will not reveal reveal a comparable locule orientation.
